Looking through my timeline I notice that it is made up of at least 60% of the following type of tweet.

Twitter has moved from being a place of comments of 140 characters to being an advert for people's lengthier opinions. This has come as a surprise to me. I joined twitter to enjoy word play with other wordsmiths.
