Now, my regular reader will know that I recently had a case of mistaken identity involving a horse and a big cat. This morning I came across these scratch marks. I take a size 11 shoe (adult, not child) so you can see how big these scratches are. These marks were located about 100 yards from where I thought I'd seen the big cats.
I wonder if anyone can tell me what could have caused these scratch marks. My boot measures 5 1/2" across at the widest part. My gut feeling is that a large dog caused them.
